Hungarian has a reputation: 18 cases, words longer than your arm, and a vowel harmony that sounds like a magic spell. Most of my students arrive slightly scared. Most of them leave surprised at how much they can say.
My lessons are built around situations you actually face. We learn the grammar you need for them, not the other way round. After every class you get a game sheet: you play a Hungarian shepherd on a quest, and every clue is hidden in the language you just learned.

Is Hungarian really that hard to learn?
It's different, not impossible. The grammar follows clear rules once someone shows you the logic, and pronunciation is very regular: you say every letter the way it's written. Most students are surprised how quickly they can hold a simple conversation.
I'm a complete beginner. Where do I start?
With the Get by package. It starts from the alphabet and pronunciation and takes you to everyday conversations: shopping, directions, transport, talking about your family and your day.
How much do the lessons cost?

Are the lessons online?
Yes, all lessons are one-to-one online video lessons, so you can learn from anywhere in Hungary or abroad.
